"My Income is Constantly Increasing!"
I framed this quote and put it in Loren's bathroom.
Then great ideas came about for extra income!

~Christlike Attributes~
I
had the opportunity to teach this lesson in Relief Society. It led to a
great discussion and a very beautiful moment between my mother and I. I
also recognized that my prayers were answered. When I was first married
to my wonderful husband, I was very concerned about the fact that I was
not patient. I was just like my father, whom I love, but has little
patience. I was afraid I was going to be the scary impatient mother and
my husband was going to be kind and patient, the kids would be afraid
of me. I remembering kneeling down and praying specifically for this
Christlike attribute of patience. Heavenly Father blessed me with 6
children, 3 have cerebral palsy, 2 have depression and are bi-polar and
one was a preemie with lung disease and health problems. God answers
our prayers in mysterious ways. I still am striving daily to be like my
Savior, but I was so excited when I was teaching this lesson and
realized I have been now blessed with patience, my numbers were low on
the other attributes, but my prayers were answered. I am a 4-5 on
patience, a Christlike attribute that I specifically prayed for and He
had answered with these beautiful children. And it's been a wonderful
blessing to watch my father, their grandfather, grow in patience. Now, I
need to pray specifically for more Christlike Attributes....... Not
sure I am ready to be baptized by fire again quite yet. He answers our
prayers.

Lunch with Friends
So proud of these amazing girls!! Charlotte amazes me!! As a mother
you look for your children's talents, sports, music, art....? my kiddos
with Cerebral Palsy Struggled! What was their talent? What can I support
and help them grow in? It started to occur to me that everyone told me
that Charlotte was an inspiration. Ok, this is wonderful! But, how do
you work on this talent? Then I realized, every fast Sunday she was
sharing her testimony and inspired the congregation. She did it on her
own, no matter how hard it was to speak or to even make her body work
correctly to get to the pulpit, life is hard for her but she doesn't let
it stop her. She has found her way to speak and perform in front of
100's -1000's of people and share her talent, her inspiration! ~All over
the United States, by radio, TV, on stage etc. Her biggest audience
has been 6,000 people. I am so proud of her! She has no fear and such
confidence! What an example she is to me!
It was so fun to
see her share her talent at Evening of Excellence, especially when
there was a time that I wasn't sure of her talents! What an
extraordinary girl!
And her sister, Kalicia, got
to join her sister for New Beginnings and Evening of Excellence. I
can't believe this naturally talented girl is going to be in Young
Women's this year! She is growing up into a beautiful young women!

Ms. Suz is our fabulous Music teacher! The kids absolutely love her!
