Bringing in the new year!! This year the kids were so excited to be home, playing games in the basement and banging pans celebrating the New Year!! First time our kids started holding their own and be competitive in a game. It was so fun! It's just the beginnging! Ended a freezing day, with a gorgeous sunset!! Energized and feeling happy and grateful. I love “Families Helping Families” and “Lifevantage Legacy” Humanitarian project that we do every year in Mexico 
, building houses. 
This year we voted to complete similar Humanitarian projects right here in our own neighborhood … so we are having fun and working hard. I always love how it brings community together. Such great people giving of their time!! The Flakes voted to eat tacos for lunch, so we put together a taco buffet, as it’s our tradition in Mexico Thank you all for your kindness, hard work and service today everyone Beyond grateful for this great experience with you all lifting and building walls. Thank you Alyssa Fish, best Horse massage therapist! Dr. Dollar looks incredible! His rump is so round his muscles look beautiful and healthy again. He’s back to his old kind happy self again. It was a beautiful reunion with our colt, Max, and his big buddy Dr. Dollar It was a rough accident, and we almost lost him in the summer. It’s been 6+ months trying to bring him back. We were pretty much told there was nothing we could do but then I decided to start treating him like I’ve done with my kids, activating his body in every way possible.

Yesterday’s last minute drive to the valley was beautiful, with a glorious sunset, and I was a comfortable passenger My 18 year old, Kalicia, decided she wanted to go to a party in the valley and I just had a feeling I didn’t want to send her alone down the mountain and onto freeways. 
The ride back home today was a totally different story. Seven hours of driving (what should have been 3 hours) and road closures -problem solving/maneuvering 
but we made it home. Lots of little miracles and sliding and excitement. And running into an old friend was the best part. I used to babysit this cute kid. #madnesswiththemerrillbudz (I loved what Harrison told me when I told him I had to leave yesterday. 
He said you’re going with Kalicia in case she gets in an accident so you can be there to save her and help her.) -she was an excellent/slow cautious driver by the way

We are celebrating Loraina Chapman McIntyre and her sweet family this Saturday the 13th, 3-5, if you would like to join us, reach out and I will send you the address or if you would just like to donate that would be wonderful. I just wanted to give a shout out to this really great Dermatology group. I love that it is a family working and creating a business together. They just opened up another new dermatology clinic in Red Mountain too Congratulations! It was great to get to see our Bingham Cousins, three times within a week, between family events, and as a patient at their clinic today. Thank you so much! Celebrating this beautiful family, congratulations on year sweet little warrior, Katara Irma. We were honored to get to see this cute little angel today. Loraina is such a good mother. Four months living at the hospital with her daughter, she still walks around with a beautiful smile, lifting everyone’s spirits around her. Happy birthday Martin Luther King Jr.! Grateful that he lived an intentional life and wasn’t afraid to make changes. He stood up for what was right. I love these little tender mercies and miracles in life that teach us little lessons. Goes to show us how much we are meant to heal and survive! We got this bulb a little bit damaged in the mail for Christmas and we’ve been trying to revive it. We just couldn’t give up on it! We moved it to different parts of the house, different lighting, changing temperature, and adding nutrients etc…. Tried to sprinkle a little bit of water like the directions said. But showing no hope. We woke up today and we’re so excited to see the little green peeking out the top. We can’t wait to watch the journey of the plant, it doesn’t matter if we’re broken, we can still grow and peek out and survive! So grateful that my kids advocated for this bulb and that we kept going.
