Kalicia and I found a Da Vinci. Climbing the steps up to Lincoln Memorial brought tears to our eyes, as we love what Abraham Lincoln stands for -unity, truth, perseverance…

It all rolled on so quickly together celebrating our country! We spent it touring so many beautiful historical sites. An hidden gem is In Kingston, NY with our cousins! Thank you Donald and Paul for celebrating the weekend with us. Dinner in their beautiful backyard, walking through the oldest intersection in the USA Playing in the Hudson River near the brick 
factory where all New York’s bricks came from. The shores were little brick rocks. Of course can’t forget ice cream after a hot humid day. …then we rode in style through all of Central Park and into Times Square Harrison found Spider Man moments from the movie all around NYC

As long as we do our best to take the right steps, giving our bodies the nutrients, rest, exercise and drinking lots of water my kids get to live upright on crutches. (Some days without crutches ) Charlotte knows when she forgets these puzzle

These two girls are having an incredible time at FSY this week in Flagstaff, NAU. It felt so strange to send Caroline off on her own. She is doing so well at gaining more and more independency. Last time she went for a week, I had to go along to help her and Charlotte both. They couldn’t do it alone. Thank you Kalicia for being such a wonderful sister and a great support to your sister, Caroline. Super cool hearing aids!! 
Harrison was excited how crisp, loud and clear everything was 
…. So, when they suggested at the last appointment that he needs to get hearing aids in both ears, he was a little bit saddened especially going into Junior High. But then when they came out with these really cool Bluetooth hearing aids that look like earbuds. He was very excited. And skin color!! I loved watching his face light up when he could hear so clear. They even gave me a little microphone to talk to him. So in a crowd when it’s so noisy, he can hear me. Lol! Or in the back of the car. -60 feet away.
technology is amazing! We will have to make sure all the teachers at the Jr. High know not to tell him to take his earbuds out.

We bought our first car from a dealership, at 77 Subaru in Show Low I was nervous but they made it so nice and took good care of us. (Charlotte is in high hopes to get to drive this car sometime in the near future) It was an exciting evening driving home in the rain and a beautiful sunset and an excellent reason to clean out our garage so we have a place to park it. 
We’ve been driving my son, Jon’s car around keeping it good for him until he came home! He’s on the countdown of returning home. So proud of him 
so now it’s time to replace his car. …..And 77 Subaru is going to be doing a fundraiser for the month of September for Special Olympics Unified -Unified Lobos! Wahooo!! We made some great progress today for our families that we are building houses for. Yay!!! We watched the hail storms scoot around us
Oh my…. Weather can change in a hurry!! We thought it would be fun with Pember cousins, to go to the St. John’s rodeo and dance. It’s been years! It started off beautiful and clear and lots of excitement! Fun to see lots from Snowflake and Taylor in St. Johns But then the hail suddenly blew in and it never stopped, it only got worse and we got hailed out. We helped each other from the stands get safely to cars. We were covered with welts from the hail. The bathrooms were flooding with kids trapped afraid to come out. It was pretty crazy. I know homes and roads flooded. Prayers for those in St. Johns. We were glad to make it home. I know Snowflake too went through lots of hail.

Fun, memorable summer weekend with cousins, got cut short with my sweet niece being flown to Phoenix Children’s hospital. Between crazy storms together and spending time at the hospital.
