Happy 40th Birthday Jessyka!! So awesome to get to see Donald too. Fun quick weekend 🙌🏼 #brooklyn #statueofliberty #sisterstrip #livelifeactivated

While we were gone in New York, the kids had so much fun with out me!!

My sister Jessyka and I have a chance to go to South Africa for a couple weeks to serve our friends, with my parents. Keith and Sylvia Pember are on a mission. One of the services we are excited to be apart of is setting up a Family History station. We already have the computers fundraised for. We are still needing to fundraise for the printers and supplies. This is a letter from my Dad if anyone would like to take part:
🙌🏼💛🇿🇦👏🏼 Thank you to friends and family for wanting to do service here in Johannesburg, South Africa. 🇿🇦 I am very grateful for your desire to serve. The donation of the printers will benefit the whole area, and not just a single person.
I like the printer that we purchased upon our arrival. It is a lot like the printer I have at home, but has only the basic functions of printing, copying, and scanning. It is a “tank” printer. No cartridges. The cost of printing is cut by about 90%.
The cost of this printer is R2499.00. That translates to approximately $140.00 also in need of full ink bottles of each colour and power cord for 240 volts.
The ward could use three printers, however, I am not able to take the printer home with us at the end of our mission, therefore, I will be donating our printer to the them as well.
Two printers and printer cables (connecting the printer to a computer) will be sufficient for the family history, genealogy class to accomplish their work. We would like to leave with loads of paper as well. Setting this up in place will be about $800 -1000.
Thank you friends and family for your generosity of wanting to help the people of the Dobsonville area in South Africa. They will very much appreciate your donation.
I love you, Dad 🤗🇿🇦😊❤️🙏🏼👏🏼💛. I am excited to see a Family History Station set up. My Dad also just graduated with a degree from BYU IDAHO in Family History and will be training them and leaving them with the skills. It’s a whole program being put in place.

I love this!!! Thanks Loa🤩 These two have fun together. Charlotte is working so hard to be independent. (- wants to move out someday) She’s setting some pretty serious goals for herself. One, she’s focusing very hard on right now, she wants to be able to make five meals all by herself. Trying to find the right tools and specific adaptive equipment, to make it work with her fine motor skills has been fun and challenging. Today she learned to make crêpes. 😳 that was a tough one, but a skill she has learned over all these years is “patience” and it takes patience to make crêpes. So I was pretty impressed. I don’t have that patience. Lol! 😂 #cerebralpalsyhacked #livelifeactivated #grace #patience #madnesswiththemerrillbudz #friends #goals

I am excited that these two cousins get to be in junior high next year together. Our babies are growing up.

Wow!!! Powerful!! Happy Mother’s Day!!

Happy Mother’s Day to all you incredible mothers, grandmothers, and women. I’m so grateful for your friendships and beautiful examples of mothers. 🌸💕 I had such a nice quiet time at home, BBQ by Loren in the backyard. It was so nice to just be home, to be still and with my family. My kiddos must think I need to learn to be still too, as they all pitched in and got me my first meditation pillow. I’m so excited 🥰🙏🏼😇 Hope you felt extra special on this day celebrating Mothers. #loveyou #mybigboys #madnesswiththemerrillbudz #livelifeactivated #meditation #bestill #mothersday #cuddles #memories #monet

Wow! This was quite an experience today! First of all I held a snake, 🐍 which I swore I would never do😅 my kids were so proud of me🥲 But the real miracle story that I wanted to share is about this man, Bro. Reid… A couple months ago there was a scary incident. Our good South African friend, Brother Reid was bitten by the deadliest snake in South Africa, the Black Mamba. He was rushed to the hospital to get the antidote. I was told that 100% mortality if the antidote is not received. He was helping this family(in the picture) get a snake out of their kitchen, thinking it was a simple Brown Snake, until he was bit. He calmly called his wife and asked her to call the hospital to let them know he was coming. He was going to ride his motorbike to the hospital. This family overheard his call and quickly got him to the hospital. Both of these families saved each other’s lives. If Bro. Reid had not gone in to get the snake it would have bitten a family member. To make matters worse, he is allergic to the antidote. He received prayers and blessings. He was in critical care. He miraculously survived the morbid bite. Brother Reid has handled snakes all his life. 44 years and not getting bit. He said he made a silly mistake. Wow! Silly can be deadly. Such a wonderful kind man and it was special to get to be at this reunion today and enjoy a meal together of these two wonderful families who survived a scary uplifting experience together.

….I’ve been spotlighting with Loren but this brought a whole new meaning to it. (The only thing, I missed was having Loren doing it with me. So grateful he’s home with the kids and letting me experience it with my sister and parents) Wow!! This was so up close and personal. I still can’t believe he turned the engine off when the lioness got so close to us! Absolutely incredible! They were so majestic and powerful, so much respect for these glorious animals. What a dream, can’t wait to watch Lion King again🙌🏼. #africansafari
