The best part of these 4 days of building houses, is
getting to be apart of giving these houses to the families. One man was
so grateful, he had been living in a tool shed with a dirt floor with
his family. He never imagined he could have a home for his family. My
kids look forward to this every year; mortaring, stacking block,
cleaning up trash and their over all favorite.... hammering nails on the
roof

So funny story when we were camping
⛺️ When Keith was only four years old he stood up for our family and yelled out “We are the Pembers!”

And that quote has stuck with our family ever since! And now we’re
standing together for him and fighting! “Faith is being sure of what you
hope for and certain of what you do not see you.” -Hebrews 11:1 And my
daughter’s favorite quote “let your faith be bigger than your fear!”

We’ve had so much love from friends and family reaching out to us.
Thank you for all the love and prayers. Just wanted to give an update
for those who have been asking. My baby brother is now mostly non
responsive. He is now in Neuro ICU at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was
diagnosed with MS just after Christmas, but now has secondary things
going on. Sparky has been given every test possible and we are still
waiting. He shifted his fingers a bit tod
ay when asked by his beautiful wife to squeeze her hand. He’s trying!!! ♥️
We see and feel with all our hearts that he is fighting!! We love you
little brother! His wife, Sierra, is staying strong and his children
sweet and happy. There has been a gofundme account set up for those who
have offered their help. We love you and thank you🙏🏻 💙
This has to be one of my most favorite pictures through this journey the
last month or so. I love smirk on his face. Love my fun loving brother
and I’m so proud of him today!!

So a fun update!!! He’s out of the ICU and he got to eat ice chips and
some very simple hospital food that was smooth down his throat. He said
it felt good!! Love hearing him bring some words back, it’s soft and
slurred but it’s happening! Actually the word No, was pretty clear
😂 it’s even more
progress from the last couple days, he’s been answering us with
blinking his eyes with Yes (blink once) and no (blink twice) and that
was so incredible to get to see him have a voice again and opinions.
These are some fun pictures from Thanksgiving being silly with his
nieces and nephews and kids. He’s wearing a funny shirt that he got out
