Funny Morning!! 
Caroline woke up this morning very disappointed because there was no “dog food” for breakfast on April Fool’s Day. 
She asked mom if we could do April fools again tomorrow since we were only having eggs and toast for breakfast

Dinner time is so confusing on April Fool’s Day 
They were surprised when they came in for dinner and saw cupcakes! 
Dessert for dinner!
(meatloaf cupcakes with mashed potatoes/icing, asparagus and fresh squeezed citrus 
) And then our amazing neighbors brought by some delicious “Brown E’s” 
together, made Easter Skirts, bow ties and scrunchies this year! That’s never happened before. I taught my kids to iron that’s mind blowing!!

Of course my dear sweet Charlotte is sad and missing out on prom today 
But, I think I was more excited about Prom than Charlotte! Major breakthrough steppingstone! (Probably just in my head ) There was a day when I had a doctor tell me that my daughter would never walk crawl or get married! 
So the fact that she got asked to Prom (a normal teenage thing) my heart leapt with joy! 
But I’m truly delighted that she gets to go with her dad tonight

Did you know there are so many health benefits to lemons? We had such a fun time today taking lemons to local schools and friends. social distancing of course 
keeping at least 6 feet apart. 
We can’t forget how important these amazing teachers are! 
Working with hundreds of kids via phone or Internet. Trying to keep up to help them keep their grades up. And especially the seniors who are so excited to graduate! Thank you for all you do! And congratulations seniors!

Spring break is here and our trip has been goofed up because of the virus. 
We were going to get to see our big brother Jon, but now we don’t get too. Our hearts are a little broken. But showing up to the school to pick up my daughter brought a good laugh! How can this not just brighten your day! Best teacher in the world We have a Cheesehead and a poop head! When things are tough you got to find the bright spots!
There's not a whole lot to do except work and be outdoors, so lots of little hikes to Schoens Dam because of Corona Virus, everything is closed down.

Spring Break
has come to an end.... We had fun turning our vacation/traveling week into getting a lot done around the property. The kids had fun working hard!! 
-painting, digging, cleaning 
It’s satisfying to dig a trench and see the pipes put in for the new well. Harrison was so proud of himself. I’m proud of my hard workers it’s tough teaching kids to work hard in a world where everyone wants to play

We are missing the Tball games, choir concerts and graduations!! Congratulations to all the SENIORS graduating. So proud of them

So proud of them such a fun cousin time together and we celebrated my nephew, Brodee It was a year ago that he had a boating accident and wasn’t supposed to survive or even walk. Lots of skin graphs with shark 
skin, so he was nicked named Shark Boy. It’s been a year of miracles! Such a fun day celebrating together!! Grateful for those who gave us our freedoms so we can celebrate together 
Grandma and Grandpa came too! Caroline always says, “Merrills work together, play together, stay together!!” And Charlotte says, “I may not be able to stand and shovel, but I can sit and shovel to help Hard workers Work hard!! Play hard!! The kids wanted to make their own petroglyphsOver 300 pavers, sand and cement. Seems like an easy enough project! And carving in the cement... 20 cement bags later it was cute.... the very last line of cement they carved into it“finish line! We did it!” It really would’ve been so easy just to quit! But when your daughter yells out “Mom we finished it It feels so good” You know it was all worth it 
Excalibur's Shows are closed due to Covid, so our knight is traveling while not being able to work. The kids, especially the girls loved having a Knight at our house.

Oh my goodness! Best day ever! Happy birthday to my amazing twin sisters! And Jessyka you rock it too!! Love all of you! So we were doing great at social distancing until I ran out of water and they had to share their Camelback’s with me so there goes the social distancing! Might as well do a cute picture together.
