And finding fun and exciting ways to be active in every day life, while overcoming obstacles! Thank you to many of our doctors, especially Dr. Amy Leverant, children’s eye surgeon/ophthalmologist, who has helped to inspire this family down this activated path! Thank you to Marisa, a dear friend,who is implemented lots of personal growth and cheering us along the way!

Ok Burgoyne family...if you’re doing cookies this year let’s see yours! I tweaked the tradition and did a big fruit pizza for the whole family but I still have dough left to make individuals later.

We just wanted to say how much we love you. And thank you for everything you touch in this life, it becomes a work of art “heart”. Thank you for all the wonderful traditions you have passed down throughout our family. (thank you for the wonderful calendar every year we treasure it.)

Now We have to go to Yellow Stone, after we saw Grandpa Burgoyne sitting on the geyser.

I got my haircut, BANGS!!

I milked goats for the first time in over 20 years!!!!!! Trigger!! lol!!

Went to St. Johns, to El Cominos and had Mexican Pizza!!

Harrison hit the Piñata blind folded, even with Ataxia and CP, He didn't fall over, he Busted It!!

We had to say goodbye to our Prius, It's traveled all over the United States ~Route 66

It was totaled hitting a jackrabbit, by a friend that borrowed our car.....

Happy President’s Day!! Grateful for these good men who have lead our country! “The Traveler’s Gift” by Andy Andrews is one of my most favorite books that teaches the history of our leaders and how to make those good choices to create such a mindset. We have read and listened to this book as a family over and over. So in turn my kids are not upset that they have to have walkers and crutches. They are just totally excited to be upright and using their walkers and crutches as needed. Grateful for my children’s mindset and their pure example to me of turning thorns into blessings.

Harrison is doing so well with Homeschooling with Ms. Mom.

While we were going to a Seminar in the Valley, my kids were home celebrating the LOVE month! Dates, parties and decorating! I love that my Kids have such great friends. I love the teenager life with these girls!! 

Kalicia is too young for a date, so her date was our horse, Molly!

(We did have to have respite providers coming in and out to make sure my kids were safe and that they could eat without choking) -can't be completely on their own.)

Morp Dance (Prom -spelled backwords -the Dance that precedes Prom) ...Lot's of fun with these teens tonight! I'm loving this age group and all the excitement and friendships that come with it.

Kalicia was inspired by to her Choir Director to tryout for Regionals, even as a Freshman. Because of Covid there were a lot of hurdles. She practiced and worked hard to be prepared for the big day. Technical difficulties ended up making this impossible. Suddenly a few days later while on the road her director reached out to her again and asked if she would try out again in one hour- That was her only open window. She became very nervous and was too scared to do it, biggest obstacle; we did not have a place to do it while on the road home. We ended up retracing our steps back to grandma and grandpa‘s and did it in their kitchen under construction. Best audience ever! It was a bit different than being on a stage but very rewarding because she felt the love! Biggest thing she learned was not to quit! And she scored!

A perfectly healthy beautiful reminder and look at all the amazing colors!! Love yummy healthy colorful food.

My Grandma Burgoyne would always laugh if she served a meal that was all one color. I love the varieties of colors that bring health.

Thank you for all the beautiful birthday wishes!! I loved waking up to my kids little celebration for me! I think they stayed up pretty late to pull this off. LOL! but I love what they put up in the top right hand corner they switched the number from 42 to 24! And you know what I feel better and healthier today then I did when I was 24!

We CAN turn back the clock! My kids tell me all the time “bio hack and fight back!” If they can do it! I can do it!

Yay!!!! It’s happening this weekend!!! “Crazy for You” Broadway Musical by Gershwin Thank you to all these incredible directors for teaching our children!! Such a gift We love that we are in a community that involves everyone, disabilities, differences etc. I feel my kids gain confidence by being with friends and being on a stage and getting to perform! The everyday and long night practices build endurance, relationships and resilience! I love the silliness and confidence my kids feel when they come home to tell me all about it. Madness with the Merrill Budz means some good, some bad, but mostly good I love the positivity my kids see in life!
