Charlotte and all the others have been practicing close to midnight every night and getting ready for Hello Dolly at Northland Pioneer College! Come, join us in the next couple weeks, so excited! Lots of banners being made for the parade in Hello Dolly. It’s awesome to see the hustle and bustle of all the actors running back-and-forth between stage, getting in their places and getting ready for this grand production

Congratulations my Kika
I’m so proud of this girl beyond words! It’s so hard because I haven’t been home this week for celebrating and supporting my kids. But I’ve been cheering them on from far away. Kalicia received call backs for the Broadway musical Anastasia and she got the part as Marfa, one of the sassy, silly girls on the streets who acts as Anastasia 
AND she performed in Snowflake Idol again tonight. It was a bit of a rough night performing with so much going on. (She missed part of the lines in the song, but still beautiful ) she’s been helping to hold down the fort at home and She also got Charlotte all ready for Hello Dolly for the college production. I am really proud of my kids and the independency they’re getting when mom is gone.

… I love after being gone for over a week, how nice it is to be home. I was so anxious to be home that I jumped in the car and drove from Idaho to AZ in my pjs. (it’s hard taking care of kids and their needs from far away. Thank you to all that filled in the gaps that were lacking, beyond grateful 
) I am also so grateful for the time I got to spend with cousins, Aunts, uncles and my parents. I’m thrilled I got to drive the the streets where my grandmother grew up and raised her family. Such a cherished time. Family is so important, hold to your loved ones. I also loved learning the history of where we came from. Harrison was accepted and welcomed into the Civil Air Patrol today! He’s so excited!! He’s been passionate about aviation and paper airplanes. Beautiful, sunny, chilly day… lots of hot chocolate! Usually during the holidays, our family goes to Mexico, humanitarian project, to help build houses. It brings such joy to my kids and our family. We look forward to it every year. It’s been a couple years but I remember a very wise person said something a long these lines, “..it’s always wonderful to do a humanitarian project and go outside of the country but sometimes crossing the street and helping a neighbor is wonderful too.” So we decided to try that this year! It was a hard day, but a good day. 
We were able to get two different homes/foundations poured. I love that my kids were helping and a part of it. Christmas break we’re hoping to get the walls and roof up! if anyone else wants to help, let us know. what is she up to now? Happy 23 years of living a life with passion! I used to be told I was too passionate about life and that sign was hung above our mirror to remind us, living a life with passion and being intentional doesn’t make life easier but a life worth living for! I am so grateful for Loren and he being willing to live a crazy, fun, adventurous, love filled, intentional life with me and our children. I was overjoyed and actually a little shocked 
when Mrs. Caldwell shared with me today that Harrison got third place on the science fair and will be going to county next!! Harrison couldn’t wait to get home to tell me and his speech therapist after school . And He gave his first speech yesterday about his airplanes and drag!!! It took lots of practice just saying/pronouncing his words, lots of words he couldn’t pronounce so we problem solved and picked “I think” instead of hypothesis etc. 
I love his desire and tenacity to keep learning and progressing. He knows he is developing behind his peers and has a hard time keeping up but he doesn’t let it bother him. He just keeps working and learning the steps to process and move differently. I think my favorite part tonight at the science fair was the moment we were walking in from the parking lot, he was holding my hand until we approached a group of boys playing football 
and the tough boys ran over, greeted, hugged and high fived Harrison! My momma heart soared and was beyond grateful for these awesome young men. Thank you parents for raising incredible kids.
