This is the beautiful scene where Chitty the car is introduced for the first time. Yay!! Come see the fabulous car for “family night” tonight at the Snowflake High School Auditorium. Hands on tonight!! Come meet the inventors and see the inventions… and of course the famous, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Grand Prix Winner!

Birthday Girl!! 
I’m so blown away by Charlotte. She just ran off to her college classes, skipping out on her cake and ice cream…. being responsible. She’s trying so hard to keep up in college. It’s like I’ve started college again 
I love that I get to be her mother, watching her grow and develop into a beautiful Women. She and I work side by side together, helping her accomplish her goals and homework. She was writing an essay on Little Mermaid Broadway Musical for her Acting Class last night. She felt that she related to Ariel because her legs, like Ariel, don’t work like they should…. But like Ariel she felt that she is going to problem solve her way through life. She has decided on what she wants, her goals and dreams… and she’s going to go after it. Like a lot of us, it doesn’t come easy but she is studying and figuring ways to become independent I’m so proud of her.

Busy week between dress rehearsals at NPC for Charlotte, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the Highschool (last two nights) and headed off to State Championship Basketball for Special Olympics Unified 
All good things! Lets gather together and learn to activate our bodies :
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!!! The directors and cast and all the volunteers did a magnificent job! I love that I get to see the magic happen in front and behind the scenes.

We made it!!! 24 hours later … Adventurous day in New Orleans 
I think my favorite part of the day was the shrimp and grits…. OK and yes watching my kids enjoy the alligators

The day started off with “almost” catching a leprechaun 
we had to be creative with our trap in our travels 
and he left a few naughty goodies behind hee hee and off to a great conference, proud of the strides these two girls have made love that they enjoy personal growth journeys and Legacy Service Projects!! Fun Spring BreakHope you are enjoying your break. Would love to hear what others are doing

Evolve!!! Probably the scariest thing is change!!! We can change…. We can grow… we can evolve! We can live Activated, inside and out!! We can choose to RUN the day or let the day RUN us! My kids are upright and can RUN! (It may look different but they can and I watch them Evolve with happy tears) I am doing my best to keep up and follow their examples @_merrillbudz_

24 hours later….. home stretch!! We are almost home!! Our last hurrah was getting to visit this sweet family, our cousins, that moved out in the middle of nowhere in Louisiana. It was such a beautiful adventurous drive. We love our Merrill cousins and their new sweet little girl. Congratulations again!! …and we made one last late midnight snack, beignets, before the kids fell asleep for the long night drive. It’s always wonderful to be home and talk about the grand adventures and all the memories, especially the people.

Last night was a beautiful night at Snowflake Highschool… thank you Ben Petersen for being such a great Director and really caring about the students, the kids really enjoy you!! I was thrilled when they sang the song “somewhere out there” that was my song as a teenager! 
So proud of my girls, Kalicia in the women’s and honors choir
she practices and she works so hard. They both love it!! And I’m so happy to see my sweet Caroline sing and just walk on stage without her crutches! I used to have to help her up and down the steps.
