Trek and Cinderella

Had a wonderful hard few days with my older girls, pulling handcarts, being one with nature. 🐸 🌲 Sleeping under the stars. No technology πŸ€ͺReenactment of the settlers coming west. Amazing personal and spiritual growth. Learning and loving to work with others. Hiking 15-20 miles up steep hills and over rocks and into the dark. Loved watching my children learn and knowing they can do hard things. πŸ’ͺ🏻And to be grateful for what we have and for what our ancestors have blessed us with. We have a beautiful country and I’m grateful Summer is here, so we can celebrate itπŸ’™♥️ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ #pioneertrek #merrillsworktogetherplaytogetherstaytogether @ Canyon Creek June 5

My sweet sister shared this and I am so happy that he is doing so well! So proud of this family and their example of being strong and doing hard things!!! We love you 😘
(We will be putting together a car wash fundraiser to help support) so let’s get those cars dirty and be on the look outπŸ˜‚ πŸ’¦ πŸš— 🚘 πŸš™
13 days in this bed and he is still smiling the best he can. He will be in this bed without moving for another 14 days and praying the tests come back positive that he can sit up and move and wheel around the hospital for a little fresh air. It may be a long 14 days but he is blessed with great friends, family, nurses and doctors that are keeping him happy and positive. He was able to gain a tiny bit more feeling in his toes this week which made the doctors pleased with their work and made us all cry that he may be able to gain function back in his right leg. We are continuing to pray for those little miracles of continuous blood flow, feeling and movement to his legs. He has had signs of infection brewing somewhere but doctors have not been able to find the source. We are sticking with the faith that his body is strong and will fight it just like it has this far. The pain he has is unbearable at times, but he is strong and we find him at times praying his heart out that the pain will subside. His faith is stronger then I knew and is teaching us so much. He has been spoiled by everyone and even the diamond backs made their way to his room when they heard that baseball was his life. It’s making it all a little easier when everyone is so dearly kind to us.
Amaron and I want to continue to thank each one of you. Once again, we can not express our gratitude of love and prayers you all have had on our behalf.
