Thanksgiving

“Love your family, be kind and serve one another. Make no room for regrets. Tomorrow is not promised and today is short.” What a beautiful day. Austin gave a beautiful speech about his biological father today at his funeral. Brought several of his biological families together with his adoptive family. It was an incredible, healing wholesome feeling, seeing everyone together surrounding Austin. His world coming together. What a great man he has become. He has beaten the odds. I’m truly proud of him and proud to be his mother. ❤️ @austinmerrill

“Normality is a paved road: It’s comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it.” -Vincent Van Gogh ๐ŸŒธ ๐ŸŒบ One of my favorite quotes and artists. ๐Ÿ˜ Our family definitely isn’t “normal” ๐ŸคชHarrison missed some school last week because of medical reasons, but he loved sitting and waiting for his big sister to get off the bus. Love how he admires her. ๐Ÿ’— He’s been going through a rough patch, more procedures today. But I am so proud of how tough this little guy is. “He can do hard things!” #merrillsworktogetherplaytogetherstaytogether #merrillbudz #rarediseases #cerebralpalsy

Happy 19 crazy, beautiful wonderful years to this handsome adventurous man of mine!! ❤️❤️❤️Celebrating our Anniversary and Thanksgiving with my family, wanting them to know how grateful I am for everyone of them. Missing having our big boys with us. Next time ❤️๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ๐Ÿฆƒ #happythanksgivng #lovemyfamily #grandadventures #merrillsworktogetherplaytogetherstaytogether #merrillbudz #playunified @ Banff, Alberta

Having an attitude of gratitude changes the molecular structure of the brain, keeps gray matter functioning, and makes us healthier and happier. When you feel happiness, the central nervous system is affected. You are more peaceful, less reactive and less resistant. Now that’s a really cool way of taking care of your well-being. ๐Ÿง  ❤️๐Ÿ”❄️๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ›ท๐Ÿฅฐ
The kiddos walked on frozen lakes, crossed the top of the Rockies to the lookout and slid on the catwalks into Johnston Canyon to see frozen waterfalls! Makes you so grateful for all God has blessed us with! So many beautiful miracles

Sveta Silverman at West Edmonton Mall.
Happy beautiful Thanksgiving!! ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ๐Ÿฆƒ we’ve spent the last week in cold snowy amazing adventures! But, the last two days we kept it indoors!! So grateful for the warmth and joy we have had with friends and family. The kids all did their part in our little family feast! We got to spend the last two days with the famous Dr. Silverman; aka, Sveta๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ she sure spoiled the kiddos with chocolate, roller coasters and water slides! Can you believe it!! Harrison took her by the hand and had her join us on the roller coasters ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป ironically; she is the same doctor that we met four years ago, who sent us on an incredible journey with Biohacking and nutrigenomics. My children were Considered non-mobile at that time in wheelchairs and walkers, (they still use forearm crutches) but it was neat to see just years later the kids were able to climb stairs and go down the slides with Sveta. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿคญ (went Black Friday shopping in the biggest mall in North America๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ) and can’t forget the traditional candy houses, this year a Kit Kat log cabin๐Ÿ ‼️#togetherhappierandhealthier
