Almost made it to Detroit today, traveling through crazy snow, waiting to board the plane and then…. Flight ✈️ canceled due to weather… I’m saddened as I’m headed to a funeral and still prayerful I’ll make it… beautiful God lead story of a great man. We will miss our dear friend and now family, Darrell Chambers. Looking forward to being with his beautiful family this weekend to celebrate his life.

It’s a miracle!! 24 hours later I finally made it to Detroit. Met up with this beautiful woman who was a Godsend while my son was in prison in Illinois, few years ago. It’s heartbreaking ❤️‍🩹 that we are finally coming together because of the passing of our dear friend, Darrell Chambers. We had their popular street food in Detroit, Bucharest Shawarma. #madnesswiththemerrillbudz #kronkboxing

My heart is so full and so saddened today at the loss of a giant star in our life, Darrell Chambers. He was not only a champion boxer from Detroit, Kronk Gym… he was fun loving, kind and a mentor to my son, Jon. I was beyond grateful that I got to be amongst his family, friends and fellow boxers this weekend. When my son suddenly got moved to the Marion, Illinois prison back in 2016 my heart was broken not understanding that God had a bigger plan and put him in a cell with his new cell mate the famous Darrell Chambers. I had no idea that this was an answer to my prayers 🙏🏼 Darrell was the guy that was big enough, scary enough, loving, kind and spiritual enough to bring my son back to God. He became my son’s role model. And when he and my son both got out of my prison. It became full circle when my niece Halee went to Detroit on a mission and connected with him, while he delivered a Christmas gift for me to her. Darrell then was baptized and rededicated his life back to God. Such a beautiful story… Thank you Darrell for your example and sharing your light and life with my family. We will miss you!! One more week until the big production!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 They are practicing everyday and into the evenings!! Dress rehearsals start Saturday, all day long!!! So thrilling 😍😍😍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Way to go awesome cast and directors!!

Yay!! the Snowflake Unified Lobos did awesome tonight! They were supposed to play a regional event at Payson Highschool tomorrow but canceled due to weather, so we were excited with the support of the community to pull this fun event off today to get the Unified Lobos to the State Basketball Competition

What a joy to get to spend my birthday and get to hear from so many beautiful friends. I just wanted to say thank you for all the kind and beautiful birthday wishes. ♥️ It was so uplifting and such a fun day! we haven’t had time to celebrate at our home yet so I’m excited to celebrate with my family tomorrow as everybody’s been going to play practice and coaching Special Olympics Unified. But I did get to have a nice evening with my best friend last night. Thank you 💝 Hope everyone is enjoying the gorgeous weather and the fun weekend💙💙💙 #thankyou

First night of the full dress rehearsal beginning to end!! 👏🏻👏🏻The colors! The excitement! The music!! The dancing 💃 And oh the props!!!! There’s a big fun surprise! And the stage comes alive!🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 incredible! You’ll have to wait and come see the grand opening Friday night!!!

Come one! Come all!! We are so excited about Chitty Chitty Bang Bang 🙌🏼 You aren’t going to want to miss this! It will be fun for all and the kids will love it!! (Side note 🙈 they said I was in charge of make up. Lol! I’m just one of the many parent helpers backstage with hair and make up) so grateful to all the many volunteers that have helped put this together!
And grateful for our incredible directors! Love our new music Director Ben Peterson!! And Cami Bjornn is knocking it out again. I am blessed that I get to help with the media and the photography… so I get to see all the magic happen and unfold, love it
