Our family is headed to Utah tomorrow to support our son ,Jon (Jonny Boy) in court on Monday and praying that he gets out of prison, that we get to take him with us. He is doing so well. We’re driving both cars up to leave his with him. Jon is fasting tomorrow and asked if family and friends would fast and pray as well. He wants to be out so badly and be a part of our family and society again. The hope and prayers is that he gets out Monday and then we get him set up at an extended stay hotel and get everything set up. So many miracles today!! Thank you for all the prayers. Jon said “it was something of incredible today.” Hearts were softened. We got to pick him up after court The reunion was beautiful. Now to tackle the next hurdles, but with his family. Fun to have one extra day

thankful for our veterans, for our country and for our freedoms

getting to spend an extra day with all these college kids this weekend. Kalicia brought her friends home for the weekend and Charlotte Caroline and Harrison loved it! We had a houseful!

Harrison went on an overnighter with the young men in our ward. They went on a 50 mile bike ride.

When they spoke of the event I immediately took it off my radar because usually my kiddos with Special Needs, Cerebral Palsy, are not typically invited to these events because it’s difficult. I was overjoyed when one of his leaders asked what he could do to have Harrison come. He was willing to “adjust” which is a favorite word that we live by in our family so we can do what others do, but usually others aren’t comfortable with it. Thank you Thank you

for inviting my son to come and attaching his tandem bike to your bike, so he could have this incredible experience

of course my momma heart was nervous, usually I have had to be with them on adventures! But someone was willing to take Harrison and give him this fun adventure. I’m just beyond grateful and like another mother said they came back with no injuries.

They had an amazing adventure. I’m feeling such gratitude and excitement, seeing the things Harrison can do and those willing to help be apart of his journey

Dad’s just jealous he only gets one crutch

We got to spend the morning with my dad at Mayo. And of course, my mom too!

He’s just about halfway through with his radiation, relieved for the progress! Surgery to remove it, for the limb saving process will be in January. Thank you for all the prayers. Wish I had a picture of both these kids!

Caroline and Harrison both raked leaves in the backyard and covered the rosebushes. I was so proud of them. It was such hard work! Caroline sent me this picture when they were almost done. This is the first year my kids were able to balance enough to rake leaves and put them in the wheelbarrow

Caroline has been so excited and has done the best job taking care of this little robotic baby from her child development class. She named it Holly. It’s been a couple days already. She didn’t get much sleep last night and woke up exhausted because Holly cried a few times in the night. The baby cries through out the day and she has to go through all the steps, trying to figure out what it needs -diaper changing, cuddling, feeding, etc. Poor little mama was trying to go to the football game with Dad tonight and by almost 8 o’clock. She couldn’t figure out how to get out of the house cause she couldn’t get the baby to stop crying. So I got to babysit the robotic baby and gave her a break, sent her off to the football game with Dad and her little brother. She was so relieved to get away. Lol! I think they discovered excellent birth control at the high school.

(ask her or the others at the school if they’re ready to have babies.) I’m dying, trying not to laugh, just console and help her. But I am extremely impressed with what a good mother she’s going to be one day! (Charlotte’s trying to help too and a bit distressed)
