Opening Night... "The Music Man", Beautiful music, fun dancing, talented kids!! First night was a hit!! Caroline was shocking and incredible that she was able to move and keep up with the music on stage. Usually my kids are a few beats behind with having Cerebral Palsy, which even that is thrilling!! Caroline was falling during practice bows and spoke with the directors and they had her lead the bows, what a great idea!! She was so happy that she stayed upright!! I am sad and excited that my kids are growing up and communicating what they need to have success! The whole play was a huge success! Got a little Day Date! Yay!!
Harrison just joined the track team! It’s official! All the years of Special Olympics track this is exciting and scary all at once! I am just picking him up
Excited, and grateful that the coaches and School are happy and willing to have him. Looking at his face expression I think he’s excited and a bit shocked! My mom reminded me about a special blessing that he received after he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and using a gait trainer, that he would walk and run and play with the other kids someday. It’s wonderful to see miracles happen! Lots of physical therapy involved to help him run, loosen his hamstrings, balance and train his gait, but it’s happening Grateful for the support to help him succeed

Caroline had a solo part in the NPC Choir and she auditioned and made it into
Honor Choir for her Senior Year
My heart bursts with happiness and gratitude when I think of all the miracles that have brought her to this moment in her life. She keeps me hopping with all her dreams and goals from learning to walk, public speaking, acting on stage, making friends, playing basketball, going to college…. She will continue to conquer and do hard things. I love you Charlotte. I’m so honored I get to be your mother. Even more honored when you tell me I’m your friend. She spent her birthday running up and down the court, playing basketball

Birthday celebration with my girls

Caroline actually corrected me. She made six shots, which means 12 points! 
I was running back-and-forth between a couple games, thanks to those for helping Coach while some of the games were happening simultaneously
 I am still in awe and shock seeing Caroline and Charlotte balancing, running up and down the court making some of the key shots.  congrats to all our amazing athletes they all did some incredible skillful teamwork! Fun busy weekend

My adult girls are off on their first road trip together Caroline is on a date and I’m happily stuck babysitting her robotic baby from her child development classseeing all the successes happening and my heart is happy (a little stressed with a robotic crying baby
) and Jon started a new job at Marriott full time this week, Austin is taking care of his beautiful family.
